The average lifespan of a cut floral arrangement is between 3 to 7 days. Cut flowers should be given fresh water daily.  Keep flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, directly under ceiling fans, or on top of televisions or radiators to help ensure the longest life span.  Orchids should be given one cup of water per week and be placed in indirect sunlight to ensure the longest lifespan. Bear in mind that all flowers, plants, and trees are living things.  It is the responsibility of the recipient to follow any care instructions provided to ensure the longest life.
